Nature Essay

Nature Essay

Nature is the greatest beauty. It can be seen many different ways and found in the strangest places. There is nothing prettier or greater than nature. Emerson and Thoreau were transcendentalist, so they found beauty in there surroundings. I have found nature in many different ways and places. Nature can be found in the forests, trees, backyards, beaches, long roads, storms, and even songs. I have found nature in all of the places i listed.
We went on the nature walk through the Hanna forest and i found comfort. Even though some of the students were talking, I was able to block it out and focus on the beauty between the tall trees. I felt the light breeze flowing through the trees. The scent of the dead leaves and the live ones too. The rays of sunlight coming through the trees left beautiful designs on the forest ground. I saw lives that were on going underneath the leaves. There was just a great peacefulness running all around me in that forest.
In my front yard there is this big, old tree. My neighbors and I call the tree shady. The name fits perfectly, because it is so cool and shady under there. I love to just go under it and look up at the branches and the beautiful green leaves. In my backyard there are many plants. My father loves to garden, so he spends a lot of his time working out in the yard making it look beautiful. So there is either the front yard or the backyard to go to and find peace in nature.
Whenever I go down to the beach, I tend to go down to the beach and listen to the waves roll in. Its especially gorgeous when the sun is setting or rising. You can sit on the beach and feel the sand between your toes. You can watch the dolphins come through the invisible barrier of water and skim the surface. You can walk along the beach and pick up shells that are interesting and different or just pretty.
Believe it or not you can even find beauty in tar. Going down the long roads that just seem to have no end is the prettiest thing to me. With trees on the side or even fields and that endless road that seems to be the only reason that keeps you going down that road. You never know whats at the end and curiosity drives you to find out.
I wrote a paper in 5th grade that resembles the transcendentalism view greatly. My subject was on a storm and it won an award. My story was called The Storm and I will type it out. "I was watching a storm from my window one day. I saw a beautiful spark in the dark sky. Then I heard a loud booming in the sky, it seemed close and it was. I was frightened by the storm, but i stayed where i was. Another noise began. I looked and saw tiny, little, silver droplets appear. Then I heard some whirling air. The flashing lights suddenly went away, then the booming. Next, the tiny droplets went away, and so did the whirling air. Suddenly, a big, bright, yellow circle appeared. Next to it was an arch of beautiful colors. That was the best day ever." My story shows the beauty in a storm and what natural nature does.
Many country singers write about beauty and the trust in God. Transcendentalism believe that everything is a reflection of the Divine Soul. In most of their songs you can find them talking about their view on the world and environment.
If people would just go out into the world and take a look around, the would see just how beautiful it is. Most people believe that they are just too busy and dont have time to do things like that. One minute would be all that you would need to breathe in the beauty of nature.
